About Us

Department of Trade and Taxes, is one of the most important revenue generating Department of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The following Acts are administered by the Department of Trade and Taxes:

  1. The Delhi Goods and Services Tax (DGST) Act, 2017
     
  2. The Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act, 2017
     
  3. The Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) Act, 2017
     
  4. Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004
     
  5. The Central Sales Tax (CST) Act, 1956

To administer the Goods and Services (GST) Act and the Value-Added tax (VAT) Act in a fair, uniform, and efficient manner in order to maximise the collection of taxes through comprehensive coverage of all eligible taxpayers.
